In the last competition of calendar year 2019, the New York University men's and women's swimming & diving teams posted victories at the Bomber Invitational, which was hosted by Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY, on December 6-8.

That double-victory ranks #19 on NYU's Top-50 Varsity Sports Highlight List of the 2019-20 season.

The men's team earned a combined 1,802 points over three days of competition, putting them in first place out of 10 schools. SUNY Geneseo placed second with 1,148 points, while host Ithaca finished in third with 1,080 points. Overall, over the course of three days, 13 different Violets on the men's team racked up a total of 21 NCAA cuts (with relays counting as one).
 
The women's team finished with a total of 1,967 points in the three-day, 11-team competition. SUNY Geneseo took second with 1,271 points, while host Ithaca finished third with 838.5 points. Ultimately, over the course of three days, 13 different Violets from the women's squad racked up a total of 22 NCAA cuts (with relays again counting as one).
