The New York University women's volleyball team's opening-season winning streak comes in at #42 on the Top-50 Highlights Countdown of 2019-20.
On September 7, the Violets won their sixth straight match to begin the season.
Hosting Skidmore College on Family Day at NYU's Brooklyn Athletic Facility, the Violets swept the Thoroughbreds in straights sets and never trailed at any point in the contest.
Haley Holz (Palatine, IL /Palatine) filled up the stat sheet for the home team with 13 kills (.500 hitting pct.), eight digs and three service aces.
The Violets' win streak was snapped later in the afternoon in a thrilling five-setter against Springfield College.
