The countdown of
NYU's Top-50 Highlights from the 2019-20 varsity sports season begins today and will continue twice a week until all are revealed.
We begin today with #50, NYU's season-opening softball victory...
The Violets began their abbreviated campaign with a 7-5 victory over FDU-Florham on February 22.
Maggie Swan (Annandale, NJ/North Hunterdon) recorded the victory and
Eryn Onodera (Cypress, CA/Pacifica) picked up the save while the NYU offense was led by
Samantha Sicignano's (Pleasantville, NY/Pleasantville) three hits and four runs scored, just one shy of the team record.
