Checking in at #43 on the list of New York's University's top-50 varsity sports highlights of the 2019-20 season is the women's fencing team's performance at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Invitational on February 8.
The Violets defeated all five of their opponents at the event, including NCAA Division I squads Wagner College and LIU-Brooklyn.
Behind dominating performances from all three weapons, NYU out-pointed its opponents by a total score of 112-23.
Freshman
Chiara Codazzi (Rome, Italy/St. Stephens) had an unblemished day for the Violets, posting a perfect 12-0 record in foil.
