It was a short season, but a winning one for the New York University baseball team as the squad completed its schedule with a 4-1 record.
The 2020 campaign got off to a good start as the Violets won their season-opener behind the strong pitching of
Gabe Golob (Encino, CA/Harvard Westlake) and the prolific offense of
Coltrane Tait (Newport Beach, CA/Sage Hill).
Despite falling behind 1-0, the Violets scored the next five runs of the contest en route to the 6-2 victory.
