The New York University women's golf team concluded its participation in the George Phinney Classic on Sunday, September 22, with an overall score of +56 after the final, second round at the Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury, VT.
The Violets,
ranked #17 in the nation, maintained their position from Round 1 to Round 2, ending the tournament in third place.
NYU finished six strokes ahead of fourth-place host Middlebury College, which recorded a score of +62.
Williams College and Wellesley College tied for first place in the 11-team competition, both posting overall scores of +46.

Madison Phung and junior
Srishti Dhurandhar tied for 14th place, each finishing at +14 over the two rounds.
Freshman
Naomi Tan, and junior
Tiya Chowdary followed closely in 17th place with scores of +15.
Freshman
Kelly Jing claimed 20th place after shooting +16.
Williams' Natalie Cheong won the 36-hole tournament, leading the 63-player field at four-over-par on the par-71 course.
The Violets are next set to play at the Williams College Invitational in Williamstown, MA, on Saturday and Sunday, September 28-29.
