
The Brooklyn Athletic Facility is the place to go when you want to exercise and take care of yourself. With three separated areas that specialize in different formats of training, you can structure your routine in a way that fits you the best.
Our Specialized Areas
Brooklyn Athletic Facility has three specialized areas: one dedicated to cardio and aerobics equipment (Aerobics Fitness Room), free weights and conventional lifting (Physical Fitness Room) and there's also gymnasium available for basketball, volleyball and other activities.
Aerobic Fitness Room

Located in the basement level of the Jacobs Academic wing. The majority of our cardio machines have their own personal screen with content and fitness programming. Here you can find treadmills, ellipticals, cycling bikes, stair climbers, recumbent, rowers and upright bikes. Additionally, the Aerobic Fitness Room includes a circuit of selectorized pin-loaded weight training machines, medicine and plyometric stability balls, stretch mats, foam rollers, and an open area that can be utilized for stretching or calisthenics.
Physical Fitness Room

The Physical Fitness Room hosts all the plate loaded and free weight equipment. It includes an area with adjustable benches, dumbbells ranging from 5 lbs to 100lbs, plate-loaded machines, dedicated barbell benches, weighted barbells, and combo squat racks with cables and pull up handles to satisfy a vast array of weightlifting exercises.
