The New York University women's golf team closed out the Williams Fall Invitational with a second-place finish on Sunday, September 28, in Williamstown, MA.
The Violets had ended day one of the competition seven strokes behind first-place Amherst College.
In the second round,
Tiya Chowdary led the team with a score of +3. She finished with an overall score of +4, good for fourth in the individual standings.
Inha Jun finished just behind Chowdary with a total score of +6, putting her in seventh place of the individual standings. Her score of +6 in the second round moved her up six spots.
Both
Jiayi Fu and
Naomi Tan recorded round-two scores of +8. Fu finished in 11th place, while Tan finished 32nd.
Srishti Dhurandhar rounded out NYU's competitors with an overall score of +18. Her second-round score of +6 moved her up 11 spots.
The Violets will return to action on Monday, October 6, at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational in Farmington, PA.
