Four Men’s Track and Field Team Members Start the Outdoor Season

Four members of the New York University men's track and field team opened their outdoor season last weekend at the University of Miami Hurricane Invitational.
 
Sophomore Joe Lota competed in the 100-meter dash for the Violets, finishing 21st with a time of 12.15.
 
Sophomore Chris Buford and freshman Steven Delianites ran the 400-meter dash for NYU. Buford finished 33rd with a time of 50.89, while Delianites came in 36th at 58.57.
 
Sophomore Anders Olson-Swanson started out his first outdoor season with an eighth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.85.

The Violets will continue their outdoor season at the Emory University Classic on March 27-28 in Atlanta, GA.
