Diaz Competes at Second Day of NCAA Championships

Completes NYU Career in 800 Meter

The New York University track and field teams continued their participation in the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, hosted May 22-24 at the SPIRE Academy in Geneva, Ohio.

On Friday's day two of competition, the Violets' Jon Diaz represented NYU in the 800m preliminaries. The grad student recorded a time of 1:58.14 in heat two, placing 21st overall in the final competition of his NYU career.

The meet concludes Saturday with Ryan Tobin, Janie Cooper and Katherine Cochran all running in the 5000m final and Stella Kuttner participating in the 1500m final.
