Two members of the New York University men's golf team have been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III PING All-Region Team.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan and
Oscar Uribe represent the Violets on the All-Region II Team after their strong performances throughout the 2024-25 season.
Luangtana-anan was the Violets' top-ranked golfer during the '24-25 campaign, maintaining a ranking in the top-200 nationally for the majority of the year. He peaked at #108 and finished the season ranked #175. Luangtana-anan set a program record for single-round (-6) and 36-hole (-8) scores at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational in April where he captured the individual title.
After placing 19th at the Liberty League Championship, Luangtana-anan finished the season as the ninth-ranked golfer in the region.
Uribe led the Violets at the Liberty League Championship, taking third place overall with a -2 overall score. He finished in the top-15 at five tournaments this season, including another third-place finish at the George Cangero Invitational in October.
Uribe completed the season with a 73.9 scoring average and ranked #10 in the region and #202 nationally.
