Luangtana-anan and Uribe Honored by Golf Coaches Association

Two members of the New York University men's golf team have been named to the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) Division III PING All-Region Team.

Jomyuth Luangtana-anan and Oscar Uribe represent the Violets on the All-Region II Team after their strong performances throughout the 2024-25 season.

Luangtana-anan was the Violets' top-ranked golfer during the '24-25 campaign, maintaining a ranking in the top-200 nationally for the majority of the year. He peaked at #108 and finished the season ranked #175. Luangtana-anan set a program record for single-round (-6) and 36-hole (-8) scores at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational in April where he captured the individual title.

After placing 19th at the Liberty League Championship, Luangtana-anan finished the season as the ninth-ranked golfer in the region.

Uribe led the Violets at the Liberty League Championship, taking third place overall with a -2 overall score. He finished in the top-15 at five tournaments this season, including another third-place finish at the George Cangero Invitational in October.

Uribe completed the season with a 73.9 scoring average and ranked #10 in the region and #202 nationally.
