The New York University men's golf team finished play at the Farmingdale State College Spring Invitational (FSC Invitational) on Sunday, April 20, in Bethpage, NY.
With both rounds completed, the Violets finished in fifth place overall with a cumulative +18 score. Three players carded scores in the top-20 of the invitational.
The best finisher in the invitational was
Kevin Kim. After hitting even par in the first round, he shot a +3 in the second. He ended his back nine with three birdies on his way to an 11th place finish.
The best round of the day went to
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan with a +1. He bounced back after shooting +7 on Saturday, and ended with two birdies. He finished tied for 35th place.
Oscar Uribe and
Ryan Leung both shot a +3 Sunday. After both shooting +2 the day prior, they end tied for 17th place.
The Violets will next hit the links next Friday, April 25, at the Liberty League Championships, hosted in Verona, NY at the Shenandoah Golf Course.
