The New York University men's and women's track and field teams close out the season, May 21-23, at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. The meet is held at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
After two top-five finishes on the opening day, the women's team sits in 5th place with nine team points. Hosts Wisconsin-La Crosse lead the field with 19 points.
The Violets' points were scored in the opening-day final event, the 10,000m final. Kate Cochran (34:34.97) and
Josephine Dziedzic (34:40.70) stayed true to their seed times, finishing in fourth place and fifth place, respectively.
Cochran and Dziedzic earned All-American honors for their Thursday night runs.
Katharine Frank opened the week for the Violets, competing in the preliminaries for the Women's 1500m Final. Frank (4:34.26) placed ninth in her heat and finished 20th overall.
NYU's women's team returns to action on Saturday, May 23.
Alexa McMillian will represent the Violets in the triple jump competition, beginning at 2:00 PM CT. Cochran and Dziedzic run the 5,000m final at 4:25 PM CT.
