The New York University track and field teams have sent seven student-athletes to compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships, set for Friday and Saturday, March 13-14, at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birminighan, AL.
The men's qualifiers are
Huckleberry Oakes,
Liam Hagerty and
Theodore Udelson-Nee.
For the women,
Stella Kuttner,
Katherine Cochran,
Josephine Dziedzic, and
Janie Cooper have all qualified.
Oakes and Hagerty will compete in the men's mile, scheduled for 3:50pm on Friday, while Udelson-Nee will race in the men's 5000m on Friday at 6:05pm.
Kuttner will lead things off for the NYU contingent by racing in the women's mile on Friday at 3:35pm. She'll return to the track for the women's 3000m on Saturday at 6:35pm.
Cochran is also set to compete in two events: the women's 3000m and 5000m (Friday 5:45pm).
Dziedzic and Cooper will also run in the women's 5000m.
At last year's NCAA Indoor Championships, Cooper earned First Team All-America honors by finishing seventh in the 5000m. She was Second Team in the 3000m in both 2025 (14th place) and 2024 (16th place). Cochran earned Second Team (11th) in the 5000m last year, and Second Team in both the 5000m and 3000m with 15th-place finishes in 2024. Dziedzic will be shooting for her second All-America honor after taking 13th place and Second Team honors in the 5000m last year.
Oakes, Hagerty and Udelson-Nee will all be making their first NCAA Championship appearances.
