The New York University men's track and field team completed its weekend in Cleveland, Ohio, at the 2026 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships on Sunday, Apr. 26.
NYU finished the meet in seventh place. The University of Chicago won the team championship.
The Violets' top finishers of the day were Theo Udelson-Nee in the 1500m final and the 4x100m relay, both finishing in fourth place.
Udelson-Nee's finish in the 1500m final was his maiden voyage in the event, finishing in 3:54.11. He finished at the top of his heat, ahead of teammate
Liam Hagerty, who took fifth overall with a 3:54.28 time.
Alex Hrycyszyn (3:55.81) took the final point in the event with an eighth-place finish.
NYU's 4x100m relay team (
Emmanuel Brito,
James Thompson,
Tyler Burch,
Flynt Whitworth) put up its best time of the season with a 42.29 time.
Burch later placed eighth in the 100m final, clocking in at 11.01 seconds.
Thompson (22.34) went on to place seventh, and Whitworth (25.29) took eighth in the 200m final.
Greg Borden (14.55.39) scored the final point of the day for the Violets, finishing in eighth place in the 5000m final.
The Violets scored points in two field events on Sunday.
Nishad Sankar earned sixth place with a 13.81m effort in the triple jump competition.
Daniel Lee took eighth in the men's discus final with a 41.54m throw.
The season continues for NYU in the first weekend of May at the Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton University.
