The New York University men's golf team finished play at the Skidmore Invitational in Saratoga Springs, NY, on Sunday, October 12.
The Violets finished the weekend in fourth place, shooting a combined +20 over the three rounds. On Sunday, the team carded a +8.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan was the leading golfer for NYU, shooting a -3. He bounced back after shooting a +5 in round two, and finished the weekend in ninth place with a +1. He ended the day with five birdies and finished second in the tournament in total birdies (13).
Oscar Uribe had his best round of the weekend. He finished the round with a +2, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 third hole. He ended the tournament in 36th place at +10.
The second-best finisher overall was
Qi Liu, who finished 14th at +2,after shooting a +4 in round three. He finished tied for third in total birdies with 12.
This concludes the Violets' fall season, and they will return for their spring season on March 20 when they travel to Jekyll Island, GA, to compete in the Jekyll Island Invitational.
