The New York University men's golf team concluded the Flower City Preview on Monday, September 23, at Cobbleskill Creek Country Club in Victor, NY.
After the first two rounds on Sunday, the Violets were positioned in 13th place with an overall score of +9.
In the third and final round on Monday, they carded a +27 and finished 15th overall.
NYU wound up three strokes ahead of Hamilton College, which placed 16th at +39, and trailed Franklin & Marshall College and Huntingdon College, who tied for 13th at +26.
Emory University won the tournament among the 16 teams with an overall score of -31 on the par-72 course.
Sophomore
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan led NYU as the team's top performer. He posted a 25th-place finish, carding +4 today and one-over par for the three rounds.
Freshman
Oscar Uriba followed, placing 53rd with a score of +7, while fellow freshman
Shray Patel took 68th at +13.
Junior
Ishaan Shroff ranked 80th at +18, and freshman
Ajeet Bagga came in 85th with a total of +22.
Aiden Spampinato of Methodist University topped the individual standings in the 90-player field with -17.
The Violets will compete next in the Skidmore College Golf Tournament, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, October 12-13, in Saratoga Springs, NY.
