New York University's men's golf team completed the first round of the Hershey Cup on Sunday, April 7, at the par-71, 6,500-yard Hershey Country Club East course in Hershey, PA.
The Violets are tied for second place out of 16 teams after 18 holes with 302 strokes. They sit just one stroke behind leaders Wittenberg University (301).
Ryan Leung leads the way so far for NYU, as he's tied for third individually after carding a two-over 73 today.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan is also among the top 10, totaling 74 strokes which have him in a four-way tie for seventh.
Drew Clark is tied for 26th after shooting a 77, including a pair of birdies on the back nine.
Kevin Kim (T34th, 78) and
Mark Zhang (T64th, 85) are also in action for NYU.
There are 87 golfers competing in the Cup.
The second and final round begins tomorrow, April 8, at 8:30am in Hershey.
