The New York University men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Liberty League Championship, which was held Friday-Sunday, April 26-28, at the Shenendoah Golf Club at Turning Stone in Verona, NY.
The Violets, who entered Sunday's final round in fourth place, shot 300 on Sunday and were overtaken by RPI, which shot 286 and leapfrogged NYU into fourth place.
The University of Rochester won the seven-team competition with an overall score of 870, three ahead of second-place St. Lawrence University.
NYU's three-day total was 899.
Three Violets finished among the top-20.
Ryan Leung was NYU's top performer, shooting 224 over the three days and tying for 15th place.
Drew Clark was one shot behind and tied for 17th place, while
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan finished 19th.
Also competing for NYU was
Kevin Kim (23rd place) and
Ishaan Shroff, who tied for 24th.
This event marked the end of the 2023-24 season for the Violets.
