The New York University men's golf team won the Farmingdale Spring Invitational at the Bethpage State Park Red Course in Bethpage, NY, over the April 20-21 weekend.
The Violets were top after the first round on April 20 and shot 15-over par over the two days and totaled 575 strokes, nine ahead of second-place St. Lawrence University.
Individually,
Drew Clark won the invitational by shooting a combined one-under the 70-par course for the two days.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan was close behind in third place, recording a combined two-over par.
Ryan Leung tied for eighth with a five-over-par score and
Kevin Kim finished 28th at 13-over par. Ishaan Schroff and
Mark Zhang tied for 28th with five other golfers, finishing one more stroke behind Kim.
The men's team compete in the Liberty League Championship at the Pine Haven Country Club next weekend, April 27-28, in Guilderland, New York.
