New York University's men's golf team completed the second round of the Jekyll Island Invitational on Saturday, March 23, in St. Simon's Island, GA.
Today's round was halted due to a weather delay, but not before NYU's golfers completed all 18 holes. The Violets are currently in 21st out of 30 teams with 601 strokes.
Kevin Kim leads the way for NYU so far, shooting a two-over par 73 in round one and four-over 75 in round two for a combined 148 strokes which is tied for 52nd.
One stroke behind him is
Ethan Yang, who shot a 77 today to bring his total to 149 as he's tied for 62nd.
Ryan Leung shot a team-best 73 in round two, a six-stroke improvement from yesterday which has him tied for 96th (152).
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan also improved by six strokes in round two, carding a 74 which brought his total to 154 (108th).
Mark Zhang is also competing for the Violets, sitting tied 115th with a two-day total of 155. There are 150 golfers in action at the Invitational.
Round three from the King and Prince Golf Course begins on Sunday, March 24, at 9:00am.
