The #18-ranked New York University women's soccer team will travel to Newport News, VA, to take on #18-ranked Johns Hopkins University on Saturday, November 23, at 1:30pm in the third round of the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Christopher Newport University will be the host for the weekend.

The Violets defeated Husson University, 7-1, in the first round of the tournament, before shutting out McDaniel College, 2-0, in the second round. Kelli Keady notched a hat-trick and an assist in NYU's win over the Eagles, and added another helper against the Green Terror.

For her efforts, Keady was named the University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete of the Week. Additionally, with her three goals, the graduate student tied the program's all-time goals record of 32. Her two assists over the past weekend brought her career points total up to 79, putting her second all-time.

The Blue Jays opened their tournament campaign with a 2-0 win over Southern Maine and defeated The College of New Jersey, 5-0, in the second round. Johns Hopkins earned a tournament bid by winning the Centennial Conference Tournament, marking its third consecutive conference championship.

In their lone matchup against each other, the Blue Jays defeated the Violets, 3-0, on September 8, 2019.
