Three members of the New York University men's track & field team traveled to the West Point Twilight in West Point, NY, to compete in the 800-meter run on Thursday, May 11.

Jon Diaz led the pack for the Violets crossing the line in 1:52.14 to take 12th overall.

Aleksander Jopek notched a new top time in the event finishing 16th with a time of 1:55.29 and Andrew Taylor clocked 1:59.15 and finished 22nd in his first 800-meter outing.

Members of the men and women's track & field teams will return to action at the Widener Final Qualifier in Chester, PA, and the Lee University Last Chance Meet in Cleveland, TN, on Saturday, May 13.
