Eight members of the New York University men's and women's track and field teams will descend on La Crosse, WI, May 21-23, for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships.

Seven runners and one jumper posted one of 22 qualifying marks for each event and will compete over three days on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.

Five Violets of the eight to qualify will represent the women's team.

Three Violets will compete in the Women's 10,000m Run. Katherine Cochran (34:15.67) and Josephine Dziedzic (34:28.40) logged the fifth and sixth best times in the Division III outdoor season to secure their place at the National Championship meet. Lucy Gott (35:34.96) joins them in the field with 17th-best seed time.

Cochran and Gott will be appearing in their second Outdoor National Championships, with Dziedzic qualifying for the first time.

The Women's 10,000m Final is scheduled for 7:30 PM Central Time (CT) on Thursday, May 21.

NYU's lone field athlete at the National Championships will be rookie Alexa McMillian. McMillian posted her seed mark on the final day, jumping 12.00m in the women's triple jump at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference Championships on May 14. The program-record mark was good for the 14th seed mark. She will compete on Saturday, May 23, at 2:00 PM CT.
