"The women got off to a bit of a slow start in doubles but got a solid performance from Norah and Sophia W to give us the win in doubles matches we needed," said Head Coach Horace Choy. "Sophia Y and Visnja gave us the edge a few minutes later. Vic and Emma had a hard fought win to sweep the doubles. After that, it was pretty straightforward. We were a little sharper and stronger in singles throughout the lineup. Tomorrow will be a much more difficult matchup and I know the women will be ready to compete."
The Violets will return to action on Saturday, March 14, when they face Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
