The New York University men's and women's diving teams opened their penultimate meet of the season on Friday, Feb. 27 at the 2026 NCAA Division III Region 3 Diving Championships.
The meet is held at the Lott Natatorium on the campus of Connecticut College in New London, CT.
NYU scored top-ten finishes in both of Friday's events - the women's one-meter championship and the men's three-meter championship.
"We dove well today," said Diving Head Coach
Todd Kolean. "Anytime you have all the team's divers in the top 15 at the best regional meet in the country, you have to feel pretty good."
The Violets placed four competitors in the women's one-meter championship in the top fifteen, led by
Isabella Reyes (420.30) in fifth place and
Maya Williams (419.55) in sixth place.
Meera Kasturi was the third Violet in the top ten, taking ninth place with a 413.10 finish.
Katherine Taylor rounded out the field for NYU in 14th place with a 397.00 score.
In the men's three-meter championship,
Nolan Jennings landed in eighth place with a 420.20 score.
Championship competition concludes on Saturday, Feb. 28 with the women's three-meter championship and the men's one-meter championship.
