The New York University women's swimming and diving closed out the 2025 slate with their final meet of the fall semester, hosting Division I Fordham University and the divers from The College of New Jersey (TCNJ).
The Violets emerged victorious over the Rams, 197-103.
Divers from all three schools started the day. NYU's
Meera Kasturi took third in the three-meter competition with a 264.55 score. Fordham's Katie Laverty (302.90) and Mya Bokeman (269.45) topped the podium.
In the one-meter action, Kasturi led the Violets with a fourth-place finish (265.75). Laverty took the win for the Rams.
"I thought the women dove well against a Division I team. Meera had a great meet, doing a few new dives," said Diving Head Coach
Todd Kolean. "We would have liked to help the swimmers more point-wise, but I'm happy where we are leading into the break."
The Violets opened the swim portion of the meet with a narrow second-place finish in the 200 medley relay, with the NYU "A" team (
Maeve O'Donnell,
Babette Bradley,
Nicole Ranile,
