After a several year post-Covid hiatus, the New York University Hall of Fame will be inducting new members in May 2026.
It will be NYU's first Hall of Fame Class since 2021.
The nomination process is currently open, with a deadline of October 22, 2025, for candidate submissions.
The Hall of Fame Committee will be meeting in November 2026, to choose the next class of inductees.
"I am excited to announce the return of the NYU Athletics Hall of Fame," said Jake Olkola, NYU's Director of Athletics. "We have experienced unprecedented accomplishments over the last couple of years. This is the right moment to honor and celebrate those Violets who have set the bar for today's championship success."
The only requirement for nomination is that candidates must have completed their athletic eligibility at least five years prior to their nomination.
Coaches and administrators are also eligible for nomination as soon as they are no longer actively working within the Department of Athletics.
The annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on May 2, 2026.
