Men's Golf Remains in First At Liberty League Championship

Uribe Holds Individual Lead After Two as Violets Head Into Final Round

The New York University men's golf team continued play at the Liberty League Championship on Saturday at Turning Stone Resort's Shenendoah Course in Verona, NY.

The Violets remain in first place out of seven teams at three-under par through two rounds after shooting five-over on Saturday.

Oscar Uribe continues to lead the field after carding a five-under 67 in the second round, bringing his tournament total to 10-under par.

Jomyuth Luangtana-anan is currently tied for sixth at even par after a +3 round, while Tanmay Chandra sits in 11th place at three-over after also shooting +3.

Qi (Steven) Liu is in 12th at four-over after a +4 round, and George Zhou is in 19th at 9-over.

NYU holds a significant lead heading into the final round, with the University of Rochester in second place at +8.

The Violets will return to action on Sunday for the final round of the Liberty League Championship, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship next month..
