The New York University men's golf team wrapped up play at the Liberty League Championship on Sunday at Turning Stone Resort's Shenendoah Course in Verona, NY.
The Violets finished second out of seven teams with a three-day total of one-under par after a two-over round on Sunday. NYU finished just behind the University of Rochester, who captured the team title at seven-under after shooting 15-under in the final round. Two NYU golfers placed inside the top 10 in a field of 37 competitors.
Oscar Uribe finished second overall at eight-under par after a two-over round on Sunday, falling to Rochester's Alvin Su on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff. Su secured the individual title with three consecutive pars.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan also placed inside the top 10, finishing tied for fourth at even par after an even round today.
Tanmay Chandra placed 11th at four-over after a one-over final round, while Qi (Steven) Liu finished tied for 16th at seven-over after shooting three-over today.
George Zhou rounded out the lineup in 19th place at eight-over after a one-under final round.
