The Liberty League announced its 2025-26 Men's Golf All-Conference Teams on Thursday, with four members of the NYU men's golf squad earning recognition.
Oscar Uribe and Jomyuth Luangtana-anan were both named to the All-Liberty League First Team, while Tanmay Chandra earned Second Team honors and Qi (Steven) Liu was selected Honorable Mention.
Uribe earned First Team honors following a standout season for the Violets. He finished second at the Liberty League Championship and also recorded top-15 finishes at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and RPI Men's Collegiate Invitational. Uribe was also named to the PING All-Region II Team. At the Liberty League Championship, Uribe set NYU's program record for lowest 54-hole score with a 208 (-8).
Luangtana-anan also picked up First Team recognition after another strong season for NYU. His year was highlighted by a tie for fourth at the Liberty League Championship, a tie for ninth at the Skidmore Fall Invitational and a 10th-place finish at the RPI Men's Collegiate Invitational. He was also named to the PING All-Region II Team.
Chandra earned Second Team honors after a strong spring season that included an individual title at the Indian Mound Men Individual Invitational. He also placed fourth at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and fifth at the FSC Bethpage Black Invitational. Chandra was also named Liberty League Performer of the Week on March 23, 2026, and Liberty League Rookie of the Week on April 13, 2026. He also broke the program record for lowest season scoring average, finishing the season at 72.27 per round.
Liu earned Honorable Mention recognition during his freshman year. He tied for second at the RPI Men's Collegiate Invitational, tied for seventh at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational, and tied for 14th at the Skidmore Fall Invitational. Liu was also named Liberty League Rookie of the Week on Oct. 7, 2025, and was also named to the PING All-Region II Team.
As a team, the Violets broke the program record for lowest one-day score, carding a 280 (-8) during the Liberty League Championship.
This group helped lead NYU throughout the 2025-26 season, including a team title at the Dr. Tim Brown Invitational and a second-place finish at the Liberty League Championship.
