New York University's men's golf team completed the second and final round of the Hershey Cup on Monday, April 8, at the par-71, 6,500-yard Hershey Country Club east course in Hershey, PA.
The Violets tied for fifth as a team with McDaniel College, as their 614 total strokes were just three behind fourth-place Gettysburg College and two ahead of seventh-place Penn State-Altoona.
Ryan Leung was NYU's top finisher, tying for 17th individually after carding a 78 today which brought his two-day total to 151.
Jomyuth Luangtana-anan and
Drew Clark both tied for 28th with 154 strokes, with Smith matching his first-round score of 77 today.
Kevin Kim was just one stroke behind that pair (155) which put him in a tie for 33rd.
Mark Zhang rounded out NYU's competitors with a total score of 170 (T73rd).
There were 16 teams and 87 golfers in action at the Cup.
Men's golf returns to the course on Saturday, April 13, at the Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College in Ballston Spa, NY.
