CSCAA RankingsThe New York University men's and women's swimming & diving teams will jump back into the pool on Saturday, January 17, when they travel to Springfield, MA, to face Springfield College. It will be the first meet of 2015 for both NYU squads.
The Violets were last in action when both teams took first place at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championships at the Nassau County Aquatics Center in East Meadow, NY, from December 5-7.
In addition to their success at ECAC's, both squads enter Saturday's meet against the Pride with 6-0 overall records and are both #6 in the most recent College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Team Rankings, which were released on December 10.
The Springfield men enter Saturday with a 2-7 dual meet record, while the women sport a record 6-5.
The Violets last faced the Pride on January 18, 2014, at NYU's Palladium Athletic Facility. The men defeated Springfield 187.5-76.5, while the women were victorious by a score of 164-136.
