Due to heavy rain and unplayable conditions, the 2011 Middlebury Invitational Women's Golf Tournament has been cancelled. The host school, Middlebury, moved the tournament to the nearby Neshobe Golf Club, but after a few holes, action was halted. Sunday's weather does not look any better, resulting in the cancelation of the tourney.

The Violets will go back to action next week, October 8th and 9th, at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship in Rochester, NY.
