The Violets finished the two-day tournament at +14 to secure first place out of seven teams. With the win, NYU earns the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Championship.
Wellesley College finished in second place with a team score of +36.
NYU dominated the individual leaderboard, with all five golfers finishing inside the top five. Jiayi Fu led the way for the Violets, finishing in first place with a two-day total of +3 after shooting a 74 today.
Sonia Hao and Inha Jun each finished tied for second at +4, with Hao carding a 73 in the final round and Jun posting a 74.
Naomi Tan placed fourth with a +6 after shooting a 77 today, while Tiya Chowdary finished fifth with a +7, carding a 74 in the final round.
"Solid performance by the entire team securing the Liberty League championship," said head coach Brad Johnson. "This is the best team I've ever been a part of, and we're looking forward to the NCAAs."
The Violets will next compete at the NCAA Division III Championship, scheduled for May 19–22 in Palm Desert, CA. Tee times are to be announced.
