The New York University women's basketball team will look to close out the 2008 portion of its schedule undefeated when it hosts non-conference foe Drew University on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7:00 p.m. at the Jerome S. Coles Sports Center.

Jessica McEntee, the Women's DIII News Preseason Player of the Year, scored a game-high 30 points and grabbed a career-high-tying 22 rebounds in the victory, and scored 21 of her points in the second half.
Drew enters with a 6-0 record, its most successful start ever to a season. Danielle Barber (13.7 ppg, 5.2 apg, 4.8 rpg, 3.0 spg) leads a balanced squad.
NYU leads the all-time series, 6-1, including six straight victories. In the last meeting between the teams, McEntee posted 31 points (9-for-12 FG, 13-for-13 FT) and 11 rebounds in an 86-70 victory at Drew on Dec. 8, 2007.
