Brooke Batchelor Named to CSC Academic All-America Second Team

Junior Guard Honored For Academic and Athletic Achievements

Brooke Batchelor of the New York University women's basketball team has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Division III Academic All-America Second Team following her academic and athletic achievements during the 2025-26 season.

This is Batchelor's first time being named an Academic All-American. She has previously earned two CSC Academic All-District nods.

The junior guard out of Oakton, VA, adds the honor to her several accolades from this season, including UAA Defensive Player of the Year, WBCA Division III Honorable Mention All-American, and All-Met First Team.

Batchelor helped lead the Violets to a third consecutive undefeated regular season and another NCAA Sectional Championship. She finished averaging 13.4 points per game on 48.8% shooting from the field and 38.7% shooting from beyond the arc. Defensively, she tallied 2.7 steals per contest.

On Sunday, February 8, NYU set the DIII record for most consecutive wins with its 82nd victory in a row.
