New York University women's basketball assistant coach Annie Barrett has been named to the Women's Basketball Coaches Association Thirty Under 30 presented by Morgan Stanley Global Sports and Entertainment. The WBCA released their list on Thursday, March 27. 

The WBCA's Thirty Under 30 recognizes "30 up-and-coming women's basketball coaches aged 30 and under at all levels" of college basketball. Coaches are assessed based on their "community service, mentorship and impact on others, professional manner, and attitude and professional association involvement."

Barrett just completed her third season as an assistant under Head Coach Meg Barber, with the staff being University Athletic Association (UAA) Coaching Staff of the Year the last two season.

A 2020 graduate of NYU and former player, Barrett still holds the program's career assists record.
