Track & Field Concludes Competition at the AARTFC Championships

The New York University men's and women's track & field teams concluded competition at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Outdoor Championships in Cortland, NY, on Thursday, May 16.

Dasha Jackson placed fourth in the triple jump with a personal-best mark of 11.61m.

Nishad Sankar and Areyanna McCarthy took 12th and 20th, respectively, in the event with Sankar marking 13.54m and McCarthy notching 10.70m.

In the 1,500-meter run, Jorge Rocha took 19th place with a time of 4:01.74.

Mackenzie Richard clocked 1:06.62 in the 400-meter hurdles to take 12th place and Emmanuel Brito posted 22.67 to take 19th in the 200-meter dash.

Select members of the New York University track & field teams will return to action at the NCAA Division III Championships in Myrtle Beach, SC, which is set to begin next Thursday, May 23.
