Results

A contingent of the New York University men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Monmouth Winter Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Monmouth University in Monmouth, NJ, on Friday and Saturday.

Violet pole vaulters had a successful day on Friday, as freshman Natalie Shoji and senior Alaris Dayzie (San Diego, CA/University City) placed eighth and ninth, respectively (2.90m, 2.75m). 

In the 200m on Saturday, sophomore Sunmakin Orafidaya placed 18th with a time of 24.09. He also competed in the 60m (31st place, 7.48). On the women's side, freshman Andrenae Jones (Boston, MA/Concord-Carlisle) placed 20th in the 60m in 9.16.

The Violets return to action next Friday, February 21, at the Last Chance Meet hosted at the Armory in Manhattan.
