In the fourth round, the Violets lost to University of Pennsylvania, 23-4. NYU then took out Haverford 19-8, and followed that up by defeating Massachusetts Institute of Technology by a score of 14-13.

Assistant coach Lauren Willock was very impressed with the team's effort.

"I am very happy with how we did today," Willock said. "The fact we came away with a winning record against these top quality teams makes us very happy. This gives us lots of confidence for the rest of the season."

The Violets compete tomorrow at Tufts University in Medford, MA.
