Magill was NYU's top finisher on Sunday.
The New York University wrestling team produced a seventh-place finish at the Metropoilitan Conference Championships at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, on Sunday, February 27.

Despite falling in the finals at 165, Matt Magill earned a wild card entry to the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships, to be held March 11-12 in La Crosse, WI.

After winning a 4-2 overtime decision to reach the finals, Magill was outlasted 11-9 by Justin Bonitatis of The College of New Jersey in the finals.
