Biography

2016-17: Competed exclusively during the cross country season, running in five meets…paced the Violets at the Metropolitan Championship (10/7) with her 36th-place finish in 20:31.90…helped NYU take 18th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championship (11/12) with her 88th-place finish (22:59.60).

2015-16: Competed in seven cross country events…recorded a season-best time (38th place, 22:30.5) at the 6k Inter-Regional Rumble (10/17)…produced a 21st-place finish (24:03.17) at the ECAC Championship (11/7)…recorded indoor-best times in the mile (5:16.27) at the UAA Indoor Championships (2/27-28) and in the 3,000m (11:08.70) at the Gotham Cup (1/22)…ran outdoor bests in the 1,500m (4:58.04) at the UAA Outdoor Championships (4/23-24) and in the 800m (2:27.33) at the Tom Farrell Track & Field Classic (5/7).
 
2014-15: Made her collegiate debut with a 28th-place finish in the 5k (18:30) at the Saratoga Invitational (9/13)…placed 29th in the 5k (19:37) at the Metropolitan Championship (10/10)…finished in 31st in the 6k (23:38.96) at the Connecticut College Invitational (10/18)…made her track & field debut placing 21st in the 3,000m (11:17.78) at the NYC Gotham Cup (1/16)…finished 37th in the mile (personal-best 5:35.49) at the Metro Team Challenge (1/23)…placed eighth in the 1,500m (5:11.58) at the Rider Invitational (4/11)…finished 13th overall with a personal best in the 1,500m (5:00.11) at the Greyhound Invitational (4/18).
 
High School: Four-year member of the cross country and track & field teams…captain for both squads and selected cross country MVP as a senior…three-year PIAA District medal winner…three-year Sentinel Cross Country All-Star and two-time Track All-Star…2013 Penn Live Cross Country All-Star…PIAA 2012 District gold medal winner in the 4x800m and State Championship silver medal in the 4x800m…PIAA 2014 District and State Championship gold medal in the 4x800m and District silver medal in the 3,200m…First Team Penn Live All-Star for the 4x800m and All-State Honorable Mention honors for the 4x800m as a senior…four-year Honor Roll Status Award recipient…member of the National Honor Society, Foreign Language Honor Society and Math Honor Society.
 
Personal: Minoring in urban design and architectural studies…plans to work as an architect or urban designer and design cities to be more efficient.
