2009: Saw action in 15 games and made 10 starts...made first career start (and appearance) vs. CCNY (9/5)…started six straight games (9/11-28)…took a shot vs. CCNY (9/5), Kean (9/9), Manhattanville (9/12), the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (9/23), Hunter (9/28), and John Jay (10/24). Pre-NYU: Transferred from the University of Arizona, where he played two seasons for the club men’s soccer team…helped the squad finish fifth nationally in 2007…Dean’s List student all four semesters...volunteered with the Big Brothers & Sisters of Tucson, AZ. High School: Four-year team member…also competed for one season in track & field…captained the soccer team his final three years…helped his team win the 2006 SICA West title…named All-Area three times, All-Sectional twice and All-State once…converted a game-winning penalty kick to help erase a 3-0 halftime deficit against Joliet Township…member of the Chess Club, National Honor Society, Science Club, and Spanish National Honor Society...selected as an Illinois State Scholar and to the Chicago Fire Academic Team…played for the Chicago Magic Soccer Club, where he was teammates with English Premier League rising star Eric Lichaj and University of Creighton standout Andrew Duran.
