Men's Track & Field

Track Competes in Connecticut

Members of the New York University men's and women's track & field teams traveled to New London, CT, to compete in the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College on Friday, April 11.

In the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase elite section, Olivia Jackson posted a strong fourth-place finish with a time of 11:25.63. 

Rina Kurihara also claimed fourth in the elite section of the women's 800-meter, clocking 2:20.43.

In the men's elite 1,500-meter run, Luke Munoz placed seventh overall, finishing in 4:01.66. 

On the women's side, Eliza Dickie took 10th in the same event with a time of 4:53.42.

The squads will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, April 12, when they compete at the Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg, PA, and the Oscar Moore Invitational in Glassboro, NJ.
