"It was a tremendous start to the season," said Head Coach
Trevor Miele. "I have been impressed with our training so far this year. It's awesome to see the fantastic results today with many impressive wins by freshmen and returners, coupled with a ton of depth."
The Violets' divers also had strong performances, with
William Hopkins winning both the 1-meter dive (252.90) and the 3-meter dive (272.02).
"Our divers performed excellently across the board," said Head Diving Coach
Todd Kolean. "Facing a Division I team is challenging, especially since they've had over a month more of training. Will did a great job winning both events and was very close to achieving regional qualifying scores."
The Violets return to the pool next Saturday, October 26, when they face Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, beginning at 12:00pm.
