Fencing Teams Swept by Harvard

NYU Men Fall 16-11, Women Defeated 21-6

The New York University Men's and Women's Fencing Teams traveled to Cambridge, MA, to face Harvard University on Friday, January 28.

The men's epee team and women's saber team were both victorious, but overall, the men were defeated 16-11 and the women were downed 21-6.

Men's epee posted an 8-1 victory, with Ian Sanders and Ian Adler each winning all three of their bouts.

Men's saber lost 6-3, but Jamie Ren posted two of the three victories for NYU.

Women's saber out-scored the Crimson 6-3, with Leanne Chan, Allison Dunlap and Sharon Ni each recording two victories.

Both squads are back in action on Sunday, February 6, when they compete in the City Square Off, hosted by LIU.
