The University Athletic Association (UAA) has announced its 2021 Fall Sport All-Academic honorees.
New York University had 57 student-athletes across five sports (Men's Cross Country, Women's Cross Country, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer, and Women's Volleyball) recognized for their academic success.
In total, 857 student-athletes from the eight UAA institutions were honored.
Within the UAA, All-Academic recognition is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.300. The 3.300 minimum cumulative grade point average is the same academic standard used as a qualifying threshold by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) for the nomination of Academic All-America® candidates in all sports.
On the playing fields, courts, courses, etc., it was an outstanding fall campaign for NYU Athletics as both the women's volleyball team and the men's soccer team earned NCAA Tournament bids, the women's soccer team posted its seventh-consecutive winning season, and the men's cross country team qualified an individual, freshman
