New York University's "One Day" campaign, held on Wednesday, March 11, set a record for money raised with over $822,000 brought in across NYU Athletics from 917 donors.
It broke the previous record of $382,000, which was set during 2024-25 academic year.
"This year, NYU Athletics celebrated two national championships, multiple UAA titles, and eight individual national champions," explained NYU Director of Athletics
Jake Olkkola. "These moments don't happen by accident. They are the result of the environment we are building together, one that gives our student-athletes the resources, support, and opportunities to perform at the highest level."
The One Day success comes alongside NYU placing first in the Learfield Directors Cup Standings through the Winter season. The Violets' outstanding year has been highlighted by both women's swimming & diving and women's cross country winning National Championships, as well as top-four national finishes by women's basketball, wrestling, men's swimming & diving, and men's cross country.
"Your support plays a meaningful role in shaping that experience every day," added Olkkola. "It allows us to go beyond what is expected and create opportunities that truly elevate their time at NYU. From expanded travel that exposes teams to stronger competition, to upgraded equipment and training resources, to investments in performance, recovery, and overall wellbeing, your generosity helps ensure our student-athletes have what they need to thrive."
