Updated Spectator Policy for Indoor Events

The following groups are permitted to attend indoor events hosted by NYU in NYU facilities:

  • NYU students, faculty, staff, and administrators with current valid NYU ID cards and proof of vaccination using the NYU VAX pass. 

  • Family members of NYU student-athletes who can present the NYU VAX pass. Up to two family members of current rostered student-athletes per event will be permitted to attend indoor events hosted by NYU. 

In order to enter an NYU facility, visitors will need to present the NYU VAX pass and a valid ID. Identification must be an official document bearing the name of the individual and a photo or date of birth (such as a driver's license, non-driver government ID card, IDNYC, passport, or school ID card).

VAX Pass must be completed and current for the day of the event

Please note that no one will be allowed to enter the athletic facility without displaying proof of vaccination and appropriate identification.

Brooklyn Facility Conditions:

  • 100-person capacity.

  • NYU students, faculty, staff, and administrators. 

  • NYU families only. Guest lists must be finalized five days before the event.     

  • Identification and NYU Vax Pass must be presented to access events..

  • Must wear a proper mask (no gaiters, buffs, and bandanas) at all times.

  • Spectators will be allowed into the facility 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

  • Limited access in the facility includes the bleachers area and restrooms only.

  • No food or beverages allowed in the facility.

Palladium Facility Conditions:

  • 100 spectators max.

  • NYU students, faculty, staff, and administrators.     

  • NYU families only. Guest lists must be finalized 5 days  before the event.    

  • Identification and NYU Vax Pass must be presented to access events..

  • Must wear a proper mask (no gaiters, buffs, and bandanas) at all times.

  • Spectators will be allowed into the facility 30 minutes prior to the start of the event.

  • Limited access in the facility to pool bleachers and restrooms only.

  • No food or beverages allowed in the facility.

 

Visitors should note that schedule changes may occur at any time as New York University and opposing institutions respond to COVID impacts.
